Doc Variables is a templating add-on for Google Docs and Google Slides that:
This add-on is tightly integrated to your Google account and the data stored in the said account. When installing the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace, you will be prompted to authorize different accesses to your Google account. Those authorizations will only be used to perform the service you are requesting from the add-on you have installed.
To remove the add-on access to your Google account, you must uninstall the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. Add-ons are created and powered by Google Apps Script, on Google servers.
Information gathered by Doc Variables will never be sold or shared to external people. When we need to store data outside of your Google account, we use Firebase, a serverless database developed by Google, so your data never leaves Google servers. We only store in Firebase data which is absolutely needed to provide our users the service offered by this add-on. All document data (content) processed by the add-on is not stored in Firebase or on any other data storage system.
Our App's use of information received, and App's transfer of information to any other app received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
All subscriptions payments are processed through the third party Stripe or PayPal payment processing systems. Credit card information and storage are not accessible to the Doc Variable application. Payment profiles are accessed by a token system which provides a reference to a user's information with no direct access to that data.
